If you need a power outlet on the Caltrain, they can be found on the top single riders area, the 6th or 7th seat!
If the ticket lines are long, use the machine at the end of the walkway under the tracks.
They have a car specifically for travelers with luggage. Look for the green luggage label outside the car.
Long security line wait? Look for the elevators to take you to the top without waiting downstairs! Can shave off 30 minutes sometimes.
Need an power outlet? The newer Metrolink cars have them spread out among the seats. Look for the cars with silver-colored exterior that don't have lots of bolts (as in nuts 'n bolts).
You can ride any of the metro subways for free with your metrolink train ticket. That will get you around the main parts of LA.
The Fly Away shuttle from Union Station to LAX is a great deal and very convenient. Boards at end of Patsaurus Plaza.
