Get a combo with 3 meats, everything is delicious. heavenly: ribs with 7 different sauces available, pork shoulder, beef brisket, mac and cheese. Okay: potato salad, apples, sausages. Bad: coleslaw
I had pulled pork, sausage and brisket. They have 5 different types of BBQ sauce. Carolina is great! Their 911 is not spicy at all. Anything people call spicy is not as hot as it is in Texas.
This BBQ exceeded all expectations. Pretty inexpensive and a great place for a belly-filling pit-stop after hitting the bars on Broadway. Ribs & brisket were standouts. WinstonWanders.com
Super friendly staff and great food. The price and relaxed feel make this place a must-visit. Tried the 3 meat combo and the ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket were amazing.
The brisket, pork shoulder, and corn was amazing.. If you eat spicy don't be afraid of the XXX Spicy sauce it's tasty but not too spicy. The Mac and cheese was not anything great.
Good down-home barbecue served cafeteria-style in a casual environment. A nice, easy stop before catching a show across the alleyway at The Ryman. Don’t forget sweet tea. Read more
Got the St.Louise style ribs which were amazing! The mac and cheese was good but the baked beans were okay at best. Sat upstairs and it was fun to look over Broadway street. Definitely a must eat at!
One of the few restaurants conveniently located in the downtown area. Not the best BBQ you'll ever have but service is quick and it's a change from the various places serving bar food. Prices are fair
The pulled pork goes well with the Carolina sauce; the tangy taste mixes well with the pork flavor and soft bun. Bonus: Jack's considers Mac and Cheese a vegetable in the plate deals!
Had the 3-meat combo plate: sausage, chicken and ribs with corn and mac. All of it was fine, but lukewarm and not fresh - befitting the cafeteria that it is. Good service and modest digs.
Baked beans were heavenly, as was the potato salad. Corn bread tastes very authentic too! A bit pricey for what it is, but worth it if you're looking for some good BBQ in Nashville!
Kansas Citybarbecue sauce is great! Got there with no line and wanted seconds but line was out the door. I should have gone with my hoarder instincts! Yum!
Very simple menu, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Tennessee Bar-B-Que sauce on my smoked turkey sandwich with a side of mac-n-cheese. Good sweet tea, too.
Ask cashier for onions on ur order. Didn't like Tennessee sauce. Preferred Texas (sweet hot) or KC (mild). Serve like soup kitchen. Tennessee pork shoulder ok - try stl ribs next time.
