- lots of people know they have fantastic coffee. not many people know that they have mind-blowing chai as well.
- Erin MichelleOctober 2, 2010The lattes are almost too artfully made to drink at times... but the best coffee drink is awaiting you with the first sip!
- I bet you're standing in a line right now for some coffee or tea here. Be assured, that it's worth the wait. Great lattes!
- I dig the Soy Latte (no foam:) and a Chocolate Croissant, but, everything here is exeptionally good ~ Enjoy it!
- Beatriz CastilloJanuary 6, 2015Very hipster place. It was too crowded for my taste, we had to be wait in line for about 30 min or so, and we didn't even like our coffee that much.
- Karalyn BereMay 28, 2013Visiting a friend in LA who took me here and now I am hooked! They need to open one on Boston!
- patience is a virtue here... crazy lines, but the coffee's worth the wait (or at least I tell myself that)
- Mil4n SOctober 30, 2011Every morning should start here! One of the few reasons I would live in LA, Venice that is :)
- Order the Angeleno- it's not on the menu. It's an iced latte shaken with simple syrup. Frothy and a little sweet. Mmm
- Coffee is made with care, atmosphere is awesome, and there is always a line!
- For no lines and a completely different vibe come here at night. They stop serving at 8pm, but wont force you out until a quarter till 9.
- Scandia got me hooked on the Gibraltar. If you love their cappuccino, this is the next step.
- Trust your friendly barista to make a recommendation - you won't be disappointed.
- Ask for the Burundi espresso instead of the regular black cat for a great flavor. The maple scone is best I've ever had too.
- michael simmonsApril 15, 2013Intelligentsia has no power outlets for customers. Screw this place and go across the street to Toms (coffee is fantastic).
- Josef SzottenJanuary 22, 2016Waaaaaay to pretentious. Super busy, laptops everywhere. The coffee was good but the ambiance - not so much. It's better in NYC
- Neilan TyreeMarch 11, 2010Love this place. Went for the first time with fantastique CD/producer Christianne. "Ahhhh," I thought. "I really AM back on LA. The part I like best, in fact!" Going again today.
- The way coffee should be. Hands-down the best coffee in Los Angeles.
- Cold brew Angelino, I'm still in love. I always want to be a bully and cut in line. That's my fantasy.
