Deep Tissue Prenatal Massage

During pregnancy massage therapy focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of the childbirth experience. Prenatal massage enhances the function of muscles and joints. Deep tissue pregnancy massage also greatly improves circulation, general body tone, and mental or physical fatigue. We use a pregnancy pillow whenever possible, which allows mom to be lying on her tummy while baby is being supported. This is one of the few times during pregnancy mom is able to lie face down. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any massage during the first trimester. We cannot use hot rocks for clients under 37 weeks.

Sports Massage with a Structural Focus
