- Ben ShepherdJanuary 7, 2015Excellent staff and certainly a grand building. Internet connectivity is unreliable at best, though, and hot water was a challenge. Fine for a pleasure trip, not ideal for business travelers.
- Catherine ZNovember 16, 2012We stayed her for a wedding and it was excellent. Tons of amenities and very gracious staff. I hope I have a reason to return to Wilmington just so I can stay here again!
- Jim HeadJuly 4, 2017Beautiful hotel--the best in the city. Accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious and updated. Food is excellent. My only disappointment is the mismatched, wild furniture in the lobby.
- was here for a conference, and really enjoyed the large rooms and the classic and relaxed atmosphere.
- 𝙶𝚘𝚗𝚣𝚊𝚕𝚘 𝙰𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚊𝚜July 6, 2019Slightly “Shining-esque” hallways, but very nice and comfortable rooms. Also, great location in town
- Tim FApril 5, 2015Went for their afternoon tea. Good...but really too much. Obviously you want to get what you paid for, but at some point you're faced with too many cookies.
- Christopher FlossMarch 24, 2018A classic hotel venue in downtown #Wilmington. The staff has been very attentive to the needs of our party.
- Beautiful hotel. Nicest and most accommodating house keeping staff. laziest bellhops ever ... Always socializing and never working.
- Donovan MaguiganSeptember 25, 2015Best and finest hotel in the Wilmington area. Worth the extra dollars.

- Mattie Benita JohnsonMarch 3, 2013There's an awesome bridal show happening right now! I'm assisting Randi L. Martin of Always Fabulous Events.
- Paul DoucetteJuly 13, 2011Lovely rooms for weddings, conferences, etc. Bar is quiet and intimate. Lots of lawyers. Rooms are well appointed but a little old.
- George KurtykaApril 19, 2017Rooms are large if a bit outdated. I'm sure some bankers and DuPont employees had a few wild times in here.
- Delaware Tourism OfficeMay 3, 2011Very elegant hotel! Ideal for executive, meeting and corporate groups.
- Ann-Michelle of AMITIE CONSULTINGAugust 15, 2012Maybe I'm missing something. But, the exorbitant cost of the room does not guarantee great quality. My room smells damp, moldy and musty. The carpet is vacuumed, but needs to be replaced or shampooed.
- Ann-Michelle of AMITIE CONSULTINGAugust 15, 2012The shade is broken in the room. The cleaning staff bellowed up and down the hallways and the bathroom vent runs constantly. Elegance...Not!
