Jooik EomJanuary 19, 2018Lots of animals are hiding behind rocks and leaves. But the best thing of this zoo is what it is surrounded by amount of greens. The tip I can give you is that we met the best at the end of course.
It's best to come before 11:00am as the Zoo parking lot fills up early with not just people going to the Zoo also with beach goers and those visiting places in Waikiki

Veronica GarzaOctober 9, 2015Great playground with tons of shade and a petting zoo. The parking can get a little crazy because it's also used by beach goers. Get there early. You can bring in Drinks and food.

Honolulu Zoo may be the best family fun value in town. The Keiki Zoo is a family favorite. Check it out if you're in Waikiki.

SamSeptember 25, 2011The twilight tour is a great idea, however it isn't a tour of the whole zoo and it gets dark quickly making it hard to see the animals.
- The zoo allows you to bring in your own food and drinks, so plan accordingly and enjoy a picnic under the trees.
- Consider joining the zoo as a member. Crazy affordable and you also get discounts at the concession stand.

Masaya OganoDecember 10, 2013内容の充実した動物園。大型の動物が日本よりオープンなスペースで見られる。キリン、シマウマなどはアフリカを模した様な空間だったり。暑さのせいで動物の動きは鈍かったが、動物の種類も多い。ペンギンなどの、海よりの動物はいない。子供向けの遊具（地面がゴム製）や、芝生のスペースが多く子供連れには嬉しい作り。ジュースが飲める休憩スペースや、所々のベンチも充実。2〜3時間は余裕でいられる。14ドル。
