- Serious EatsJanuary 21, 2014Order the (pay-what-you-want) tasting menu, then sit back and enjoy dishes that showcase pickling, fermenting, preserving, roasting, grilling, and all the other creative techniques of the kitchen.
- Lynne WatanabeMay 21, 2014Enjoyed the oysters (we shared three varieties) and although the pork chop was ok, the halibut was good but pricey. Definitely save room for coffee & their Asian Pear Frangipani tart, it is delicious.
- MollieJune 14, 2017This is a great destination for a trip to Bainbridge Island. Walk or bike on a ferry- but make sure to check the return schedule! We almost missed the last ferry and got stuck!
- The best restaurant on Bainbridge. Their deli next door is great too, as is the Monday night pizza popup, Bruciato (soon to be its own restaurant)
- Riona MacNamaraMay 15, 2016Our first visit, when I told the server I'm vegan, she checked with the chef and reported back: "He said 'Bring it!'" He always puts together a truly delicious, beautifully seasoned dish. My fave.
- Cameron GidariJuly 14, 2017The marbled Alaskan salmon was delicious, but the real winner was the chocolate and rye ice cream sandwich for dessert.
- MollieJune 14, 2017ke a ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge. This is a really yummy spot to make your destination. But make sure you look at the ferry times for the return- we almost got stuck on the island!
- Christine ShepherdApril 6, 2013If you go with a group I would stay clear of the chef's tasting. Didn't come out as individual servings which was a bit strange too. However, the chicken entree was amazing, highly recommend!
- Amy RobertsonMay 30, 2015On Mondays they do a whole chicken dinner that is perfect for 3 when supplemented with some snacks
- Valentina VitolsMarch 2, 2012Try the Snow Creek Mussels, Hitchcock Chorizo, Amantillado Sherry, Parsley - Perfect plump mussels in an outstanding broth! #FSeatup
- Eric PanJuly 19, 2016"Microseasonal" in its approach, Hitchcock features local produce, seafood, and meat.
- Awesome drinks for a weekend morning pick me up! Also, try one of their specialty cheeses while you wait for your brunch.
- Seattle's GoofMay 5, 2013We walked in the propped open door at 4:45. Bartender rudely states they open at 5 pm. No worries we will wait. He basically tells us to leave because they are having a meeting on the bar with staff
- Marc MadenwaldOctober 28, 2016Service is ridiculously unorganized and slow, but the food is good. They have a good chef, now they just need good management.
- Lisa LinJuly 25, 2011$1 oysters @ Happy Hour, 1/2 roasted chicken, and potato gnocchi!!! Hanger steak was good but not a lot of food.
- Bone marrow treats, Duck Liver Mousse, Fresh Salads, oysters, menu is always changing!!
- eric bornemannOctober 7, 2018Good local food, but the attitude and lack of polished service ruins the place. They are trying.... but trying way too hard for what it is.
- Try brunch here! Great menu and very reasonable prices... Super local fresh ingredients....
