- Peter WeishaarDecember 19, 2013Elevators r slow; hallways during winter have the heat jacked up, so much that you nearly suffocate it's so hot; staff is very friendly; No fridges in rooms; great location; rooms r clean & nice.

Michael KielochSeptember 22, 2012Ask for a late checkout & they'll extend your time until at least 1pm. But be prepared for housekeeping to not get the memo & knock on your door repeatedly anyway, also despite a Do Not Disturb sign.
Great location, friendly service, and great hosts for NC Jazz Festival! This is my 4th year in a row -- great event!- It's worth the extra $ to get a room on the river! :) also the hotel has a great location!

They don't have refrigerators in the rooms unless you ask
