Hyde Park was a favourite venue for duellists in the 18th and 19th century, including the brutal 1712 duel between the Duke of Hamilton and Lord Mohun in which they hacked each other to death.
You may or may not like jellified lumps in flavoured tea... but it's a very creative atmosphere in here nonetheless. We like the test tubes in the window.
Afternoon tea is fabulous. The house blend tea is lovely. Staff are very efficient and friendly. A great way to recharge after a hard day's shopping.
