All the airports in South kind of suck: they are not as bad ad NYC airports but they lack character. I cannot Breathe at this airport.- Leave yourself some extra time on Monday mornings to get through security.
Moonwalking thru the TSA screening process gets you bonus points.
Security here is rude and unpleasant. Talked to condescendingly. Understaffed and underutilized equipment. Missed flights everywhere due to bottlenecks in security. Avoid this place at all costs.
Terminal D is very long and narrow. Be cautious if you're in a hurry.

Don't bother with a jacket. True to the name "Hotlanta," ATL keeps temperature high, especially underground in between terminals.

North security is always faster and has an expert traveler lane!

Give yourself an extra 45 minutes to an hour to get from the rental car lot to the terminal.

Concourse F: go to Ecco, elTaco, then Pei Wei... In that order if you have time to kill.
Don't fly here, the gates are too crowded so you do even more waiting than typical travel

There should be a law in place: People with no charging devices are not allowed to dine near electrical sockets.
