TSA pre check is a mess. Confusing as both North and South terminals go through the same one, but only indicated as South terminal. Analogic is slow and frustrating per usual at security checkpoint.

I always fly Delta. Home grown here in Macon, Ga. I wish their flight attendants were unionized though.
Arrive at least two hours early just to be on the safe side.
Terminal B has the best food court. The Au Bon Pain has the healthiest food in the whole airport.
Located right there in the T gates, American Airlines is the easiest to fly in and out of Atlanta. Too bad they only service a few cities from here.
There is a cell phone lot which is free of charge if you are a little bit earlier
Transfers are never easy or close. Plus you have to walk a lot. Make sure you have enough time for transfers.
TSA is rarely long. Check-in is quick. Takes a while to get your bags delivered from the plane and sometimes they end up on the wrong baggage belts!
Hertz was wonderful. Excellent service, great price and nice car. I would definitely rent again.

Desperately needs a play space for children. Otherwise, it’s got what you need.
Fastestway to downtown Atlanta is to catch the Marta train. Easy !!!!!
Cool airport, wish it had free Wifi. It does have everything else.
Travel in COVID times is very security. The places has healthy distance.
Thus airport runs much better than most in the nation. It is well staffed.

Terminal F is fancy. If you're going to be stuck here for hours, take the tram to F for fancy town.
If you have time,walk from the terminal to A Concourse & check out the sculptures!
Grab a burger at Varsity in terminal C - it's an Atlanta institution!

Renee DawsonNovember 26, 2011If you go to the airport's website, you can get security wait time information so you can plan your arrival time more accurately.
BEWARE. It takes over 2 hrs from arrival just to get to your long-term parked car from the international terminal.
Allow at least 30 minutes to get thru TSA pre-✅; add another 10-15 for inter-terminal transit.
Need to take a dump? Terminal F is clean, never busy, and very spacious.

Come early and bring a good book if by some chance the security line is short. You just never know!

75% of people look like they just walked out of their bedroom 5am. Wear real clothes y’all, flying is a miracle
So so many food options are this airport, travelers are spoiled for choice. There's a large assortment of restaurants on Concourse E in particular.
