Their burgers and their "grilled cheese of the week" are decent. But for an ale house the know very little about beer. The waitstaff can't answer questions about the beer beyond what is on the board.
The two times I have been to the First Street Alehouse, they have had Russian River, Pliny the Elder on draft. The food is good and the selection of beer is very good!
Always busy - and everybody gets a Tootsie Pop when they eat here. Look for the big kids and the little kids on the street and you know who just ate at the Alehouse.
Thurs nites 5 to midnite PINT night. Super busy but food and beer are worth the wait. Want to skip wait, go early in week for lunch. 1/2 pints also avail.
