- If you want to escape screaming kids and non-business flyers, there's a quite area just before gates 1-5. Turn left at WHSmith bookshop just after security.

- Make sure you've drunk your coffee before you try to get on the bus or the fun police will have you...
- Head to the express parking area then drop off in the bus lane. Quick walk to departures rather than paying the £1
- Don't pay top dollar in Departures! There's a Spar & Greggs in Arrivals! Just a short walk & BIG savings!
- £1 to to drop off or pick up, no choice for stopping anywhere else

- SimonNovember 11, 2014The airport is rather small but well connected to the surrounding cities (Derby, Nottingham, Leicester). Also, the newly-built food shop area is very nice and provides a good variety of choice.
- Aga K.March 17, 2015Long way to gates 1-5! You might get lost on the way through the duty free shops. Poor information system after the renovation.
- Security sux! They make u take out your kindle as if it's a laptop, and they consider solid deodorant a liquid, so then it takes up all the room in your 1 allowed bag of liquids (strictly enforced).
- Frank BApril 5, 2012Most depressing airport ever. Bring something to distract yourself from your bleak surroundings.
- Rapid drop off = £5 for 15 mins and £1 a min thereafter - rip off!
- Parking is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. £3.50 for an hour, and they then want another £1.50 if you want to pay by card!
