The rooms are lovely, the beds are super comfortable, and the service is great. Ignore the whiners. I spend 200 mights a year in hotel rooms and this one is just fine.
Last tip before checkout ... Great shopping are just west of hotel (5 min drive) including a mall with Maceys, J.C. Penny, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, and many restaurants.
Nice staff. Upgraded our room to accommodate our 2 little children. But the walls are soooo thin. I barely slept. Can hear everything above you, next to, and in the hallway :(
These rooms are so loud. Especially if you have an adjoining room. No carpeting so you can hear every fat cow in heels clip-clopping around. You can hear the sink water running, toilet flashing. Oy!
Unique decor, like a little apt. In the city. Rooms are small. Beds comfy. They don't clean in the floor corners- yuck. Hotel itself is very old and they did a quick makeover. Overall, B-.
Don't ask for a bottle opener to be brought to your room. Instead of a simple "Sorry, we don't have enough staff/we're too busy/etc" cafe/bar staff will be snotty and cop an attitude.
Well it's no Hilton or that's for sure ... Reminded me of A Sheraton Four Points. Def 3 star at best. I liked the paint scheme though and room clean. Not worth 140 CDN I paid. 100 would be right
