No one mentioned that to get the happy hourdiscount, you have to sit at the bar. It's all good, we still got a 10% discount with this application. We liked everything we ordered! Service was quick!
The hamachi (pic) from cold plates sec was delicious, among other rolls and hot plates ordered. Try to grab seats along the open windows to enjoy the Hawaiian breeze
So delicious, go during happy hour for awesome deals. Try the emperor roll and geisha roll, they are delicious. Also the sweet & hot Edamame is fantastic
The sushi, specialty rolls and sashimi are really good. Came during happy hour and got some sweet deals. Had a pretty great dinner here - much recommended.
Beef tataki and the lomi lomi roll on the happy hour menu are awesome. 1hr validated parking as well. The emperor roll everyone is raving about is a little rich for my taste.
We were seated outside in the wonderful Hawaiian night breeze. Firecracker shrimp were tasty followed by White Dragon roll which was even better. Will visit Doraku again!
1st tip ever but this place is deserving. Family party of 9 & not a single complaint. Top picks: either seabass, emperor & volcano roll, tataki, yellowtail cheek, doraku seafood salad. Strong drinks!
Wasn't impressed with their special rolls (Emperor and God of Fire) but the traditional sushi was great. Rolls could be rolled better but the ingredients were super fresh and delicious.
This place is killer! Food is cheap and the happy was the best deal in town. Garlic edamame $3.50, Ahi Poke $5.00 (fking great), tuna tataki (yeah!!), etc, and the drinks! Out server Vuong was great.
Don't get the CucumberEel roll unless you know you like eel, has a very strong flavor. Red dragon roll and California roll are both delicious. I was freezing the whole time I was there. Staff was meh
Surprised that this is the highest rated sushi restaurant in Waikiki. Really depends what you're looking for. Not authentic Japanese and the sushi rice was pretty bad. Decent sashimifish quality.
You MUST order the Emperor Roll. Soooo delish!Come for Happy Hour (M-F 5-7) for great prices on basic rolls and Kirinbeer. The tuna tataki is a win for $5!
Use the foursquare "special offer" if it's still going on! Sushi is decent. You can order a martini with "sake" in it for a little more $, instead of vodka. Don't know why they don't have "saketinis".
Of course you'll roll over their sushi rolls. Bad puns aside, the choices and combinations of their selection of sushi rolls are excitingly different yet accessible.
