You must try the Jamon Iberico de Bellota....at $180/LB it is pricey....but something you must experience if you're a fan of cured meats. Only a handful of places in the US are able to import it.
As a Spaniard living in NY, I over expected so much it still hurts... The shop part is amazing, the sandwiches, excessively poor (when comparing to real Spanish ones). Serrano with cream cheese? Ugh.
Had a goat cheese and Carmalized onionsnack on toasted bread. It was good! Had the octopus as well not as good. Very fishy. Probably frozen. Cool shop though!
Made me wait forever because they messed order up, but sandwich was worth the wait. Offered me a drink on the house to make it up, so great service too.
This is quickly turning into my go-to lunch spot. Any of the bocadillos rival what you'd find in Barcelona. Also, you could fill yourself up on FREE SAMPLES of chorizo & cheese alone - amuse bouche!
