Toning - When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick) . It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises & high-energy cardio work w/ Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm & tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes & thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast

Active adult cardio is designed to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance w/ a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work w/ hand-held weights, resistance bands, & an exercise ball is alternated w/ non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support.

Yoga
This class is based on spiritual practices to build alignment, flexibility, stamina, & awareness. Enhance your total well being through stretching in traditional poses & controlled breathing exercises. All levels are demonstrated. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat.
Dance Mix
Darla brings together latin, pop, & country music. Learn new steps to choreography that is broken down in a way that anyone can learn. Mix in the right moves & you've got a great, low impact cardio experience.
Cardio Fusion
A moderate to intense low impact workout set to oldies & current favorite music. The class combines dance & athletic moves to keep your heart rate up & challenge the lower body for 45 minutes. Balance, core, & stretch are included in this class. Linda's energetic teaching style & clear direction have made this class a favorite for years.
Aquatics
Aquatics classes are a great way to get in shape through cardiovascular & strength exercises, all while keeping a low-impact workout
Gentle Waves
This class is geared for individuals w/ mobility challenges such as arthritis, joint injuries, or recent surgery. Class will consist of low intensity exercises emphasizing range of motion w/ the aid of the waters buoyancy & resistance. (50 minutes)
Aqua Tone
Aqua Tone is a strength training based class, designed to focus on overall toning, core strength, & balance.
Aqua Challenge
Aqua Challenge is a high intensity class meant to challenge your strength & endurance. We incorporate boot camp moves from the land & bring it to the water, giving you core strength, stabilization, suspension, & balance work. We even incorporate some kickboxing here! A fast-paced, high intensity class! 50 minutes
Ultimate H2o
This class combines cardio & strength training for your entire body. This program will keep your muscles & heart pumping. 50 minutes
Intensity
Intensity is exactly what it sounds like. One hour of high cardio & intense strength training. You'll be putting in some major miles on your legs, using a variety of equipment & moves! 60 minutes

The Desert Speed School is a training program at Desert Sports & Fitness specifically designed for youth, high school, & collegiate athletes. Training w/ our certified instructors, athletes at the Desert Speed School learn the fundamentals of improving speed, strength, & agility. Programs are designed for athletes' specific sports & customized for individual strengths & weaknesses. All athletes will notice improved performance on the field, court, or track as they train w/ the Desert Speed School.
