Go get some UDairy Creamery ice cream in the Delaware Building (between the Grange and Grandstand). Ice cream is made at the University of Delaware with milk from the cows at the UD Farm!

Go in, check out some animals, then head towards the grandstand to get to some air-conditioned buildings and freebies for the kids before braving the heat and the rides.

Always a great place- circus was a bore this year but thanks to some new additions, we left happy. Go after 1pm when the midway opens
