Joyce: Amazing dumplings, very juicy! Sui Mai and mushroom momo were a little dry thought. Go between lunch and dinner to avoid the long lines. Otherwise have to wait for a long time.

June Young Choi: The original Din Tai Fung store. Be prepared to wait at least 45 mins during lunch hour to get a table. XLB's are a must as well as other non dumpling items. Such as fried rice and Taro buns.

Get My Grub On! www.getmygrubon.co: The Tan Tsi are a must I like the signature and the fat rice noodle version the best...rice with simmered pork is also brilliant and you can buy the pork as a souvenir.
Pablo DD: Burger is really hard to eat. Looks nice but could be better quality. Once you try to eat it everything falls apart. Fork does not work at all, so pointless to try with it. Overpriced & pretentious.
R G: Second location of the popular Nichi Nichi on Chifeng St. Very low key spot but can get busy. It has a clean and modern feel. Great panoramic view of the park. Their specialty coffee is great.

Chai Latte: Always my favorite dumping restaurant in Taiwan! Xiaolongbao, fish dumplings, shrimp dumplings, sour and spicy soup, fried rice with pork and don't miss red bean/taro dumplings!
Mu-An 🧶: Superb service, helpful staff, wifi is OK, plenty of power outlets, if not by your seat, just ask. It does get noisy so do bring headphones. The AC is slightly too much. Try the cheesecake!
Jay: Coffee was great. Panini average. Friend loved his brownie. Front room (with couches etc) was like a sauna in the midday sun - visit early or in the afternoon :)
Gary Hor: Get lost in the labyrinth of books. This bookstore is open 24 hours and is a heaven for bibliophiles. Don't miss out the lower floors as they do have independent, cool brands as well. Example: kapok
ᴡ Chua: Really good cappucino. The entire cafe was filled by lone cafe drinkers with their laptops. Love the quiet atmosphere here. Perfect for your "me and my morning coffee" moment.
Amber: Potentially the best night market for street food in all of Taipei. The pepper buns really are worth the wait. Other highlights: ice cream crepes with shaved peanut brittle and cilantro, mummy kebabs

Ranley Kuo: This is a hidden gem of a ramen shop. The shop only has 6 seats and is free refills on noodles. It's. A long wait, but worth every minute you wait! 神拉麵! 讚! 只有六個位子,免費加麵。通常都要等超過60分鐘。可是超值得!!!
