Food is ok, but not worth the cost. Infamous in the community for a racist dress code sign prohibiting Tims and baseball caps, both of which I and a white friend had but were not harassed for.
I want to love this place, but the food quality doesn't compare with the rest of the establishments within 2 blocks of 125th street. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen. Great bar/lounge though!
Went for brunch. The good: friendly and helpful staff, no queues, nice venue. The bad: food was mediocre, only had 2 high seats in whole restaurant... Not so great if you need them as they run out.
Drinks are light on alcohol and the food is very salty. This place can't decide if it's a sports bar full of wannabe thug types or a decent upscale place to eat worthy of an $11 gin and tonic.
I beg you. Don't come here for brunch. Maybe the chef is just bad today, but whoa, nooot impressed. Really, the menu is only okay. Great ambience and location, though!
