- Jordan GrosecloseOctober 8, 2014The hand-poured coffees are amazing. But you truly can't go wrong with anything you order. Their teas, lattes and sipping chocolates are great, too! I love taking my girlfriend!
- This place sets the bar for coffee houses world-wide, but what really stands out are the raw cacao drinks. Not to be missed in Durham!
- The News & ObserverFebruary 5, 2014Try the Al Mokha: a semisweet spin on the standard, thanks to its real melted dark chocolate and Sri Lankan cinnamon topping, the latter a nod to the port as a trade stop in the spice trade route. Read more
- AbFebruary 7, 2022The espresso is tasty; the drinks are surprisingly original; the ambiance is comfy steampunk chic. The team is super nice and skilled. Yum yum yum, getcha sum
- AMAZING creative and high-quality coffee drinks. Great selection of pastries, vegan/vegetarian quick food options, and fabulous service.
- Kaie S.March 1, 2017Wonderful, chill, trendy atmosphere. Low-key and cozy. Drinks are the best I've had in Durham. The sipping dark chocolate is especially good!
- Great local shop to enjoy warm beverages. Might be difficult to find a seat, but when possible, it's great to relax and get work done.
- KaitlinAugust 7, 2014Oh my worddddd. This place is so good! And the drinks are wildly inventive. If you're looking for a daring latte, this is the place to be.
- Jeff BowenMarch 1, 2018Cool space. Above average, but not amazing coffee. Soft seating, outlets, and Wi-Fi. Been very crowded every time I’ve been here. Be prepared to share a table with a stranger.
- C HJuly 25, 2017Different coffee options than your normal coffee house, which was nice. Cool atmosphere. Waited about ten minutes in line though, so it's not a quick grab-and-go stop.
- Great vibe and interesting globally inspired drink menu. It’s my favorite cocoa cinnamon location
- AJ T.April 24, 2013This place is a little too "hip" for me... Many coffee/espresso type choices, and also wines! But not an impressive selection of sweets/desserts (which was what I was looking for).
- They have parking, and the best latte I've had on the entire East Coast. Good place to bring the dog for outdoor seating too.
- Grace SApril 15, 2013Confession: I HATE coffee, but this coffee is delicious. Try the Dr. Durham specialty drink!
- Paul NovareseNovember 24, 2015I love this place. Lots of character, great baristas, and interesting people.
- Ronda CollinsFebruary 10, 2019Different selection from most coffee spots. Nice vibe and open air seating.
- William VaughanFebruary 8, 2016Awesome coffee and cool atmosphere! My favorite coffee shop in Durham.
- Meredith C.August 30, 2013I found my favorite barista from (another coffee shop). She was the only one who was actually friendly.
- Carrie NationSeptember 7, 2013Hot chocolate or drinking chocolate on a cool night, sitting outside... It's pretty much heaven.
- The "milkadamia" milk is much tastier than any almond milk you'll have elsewhere!
- Marissa B.April 12, 2013Must try the latte inspired by Nina Simone sweetened with molasses. It's wonderful, tasty, & creative!
- Gail RankinJuly 25, 2015My husband says this was the best caramel latte he's ever had - not too sweet!
- Caoba hot chocolate is thick and creamy. Perfect hot chocolate.
- The Moroccan Mint Tea is incredibly refreshing on a nice, hot day.
- Fantastic Cappuccino! Drinking chocolate is like liquid heaven.
- DanFebruary 23, 2018It's a nice local coffee shop but it's always crowded with people on laptops and it over priced for what you get.
- Alaric HahnApril 2, 2013Careful of the dude who cuts in line wearing pajama pants. He's crafty...and sweaty.
- DanMarch 30, 2018I like the idea of this place than I actually like it in actuality. Overpriced, slow and never really had a stellar drink there. Too many bum students on laptops.
