Priority Access Lane @ security is useless. No one manages it and everyone gets in it, making it just as long as the other lines. :(
Be sure to get a Potbelly's - and if you're getting one for me, "turkey, skinny, with hot peppers & mushrooms"
This airport is a joke. Nearly an hour to get through security and gates are not in chronological order. Efficiency is not in their vocab.

Aniela TaFebruary 6, 2010Midway/southwest has the slowest baggage claim on earth. If you are flying into Chicago and can avoid checking luggage, you will save yourself a lot of time waiting!
- Do not go in the priority security lane...with half the people it will take double the time.
Take your time getting your bags...southwest is terrible for baggage claims.
Whoa, landing at this place is rough. Damn the short runways!
Potbelly is the best food option at Midway, but this location does not have oatmeal :(
George ThiruvathukalJuly 8, 2013Potbelly and Manny's are good food choices. But WiFi's crap. Chances are you won't be able get on the overloaded "Free Public WiFi" and the paid Boingo WiFi is very buggy. BYO hotspot.

Short term parking is only free for first 10 mins, then $4 per hour, very poorly advertised
Midway has a decent food court, although I wouldn't recommend Lalo's. Go for Potbelly instead.
Traffic Patrols at arrivals and departures are RUDE!!!!
