Almost everything apart from Alcohol can be had cheaper in the city. So avoid shopping at the duty free.

Don't worry if you don't have a prints of tickets. Just show the electronic copy on your phone or lappy. You should get through. This is for international flights..

If you find the gate nearest to your drop off point crowded with a line snaking for miles, try the farthest one - Gate D . Its usually free.

The biggest sin you will ever commit in life is to come without a paper ticket to this god-forsaken airport. Doesn't matter if you have a QR code or e-ticket or mobile boarding pass, just doesn't.
Airport food like this I don't mind at all. This Dahi Batata Puri by @PunjabGrill is not bad at all.
Idly. Com serves some tasty dosas and idlis. Probably the only saviour for early mrng flights!
ICKFebruary 14, 2013Look nice but so crowded & messy at the parking lot ( picking up guest area). pls ensure all your carry-on bag attached by 'tag with security stamped' before going to the gate.
If you are wearing a warm layer of clothing, shed it upon your landing. Doesn't matter what time of year it is.

Uli MuenchAugust 23, 2012The Lufthansa kiosk outside the terminal doesn't really work! Go to D and get a visitors ticket for R70! That gets you inside to check in without having a printed itinerary.

Rob BrambleyMarch 21, 2019This place is so inefficient. You'll be waiting in many lines, and all can be slow. Getting here three hours early isn't actually a bad idea, especially if you have access to a lounge.
