    Avoid on the weekends. The bookstore is great for gifts- lots of cookbooks from NY restaurants and great cards.

    Yea, I know, it's a cluster#$%@, but there is a produce market (also wholesaler) called Manhattan Fruit, that has a good selection of ingredients used in Mexican cooking.

    Need to use the restroom? Skip the amusement park-length lines & find your way to The Tippler in the basement. Do whatcha gotta do in a fix in their restroom, then have a drink to reward yourself

    You will find all kinds of flavors here. Great for lunch. Gets busy on the weekends. Wont go wrong with any of the shops here.

    New England clam chowder from the lobster palace is SO good. Also get some bread from Amys and try a brownie from fatwitch. Can't go wrong at Chelsea market!

    Go an hour before closing time at Eleni's NY and they offer "Cookies & Cupcake Happy Hour" where you buy one and get one free!!!

    If you want to sit and eat lunch go super early as seating is very limited. L'arte del gelato makes fantastic pistachio gelato.

    1) Get a latte from 9th street coffee, probably best in NYC2) Pick up some prosciutto and burrata from Buon Italia, definitely the freshest of each in NYC

    Don’t overlook Ruthy’s Deli – if you want something quick and inexpensive (tuna on a salt bagel). We’re suckers for The Lobster Place and Bowery Kitchen Supply.
