Mariann BOctober 24, 2012This place has everything gourmet you need. Very high end selections of cheeses, crackers, etc. The owner said they are moving down the street soon and will have wine available there.
New promotion pairs a local wine with a local cheese and gives you a discount if you buy both! Nice nutty New York cheddar and a bone dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes sucked me in this afternoon!
Must try: La Mescla... Buttery crisp blue cheese (if there is such a thing) ...Delicious!!!
- Great cheese selection... and they're great about letting you taste before you buy.
Besides cheeses, this place has fantastic sandwiches on Balthazar bread. Plus they carry Van Leeuwen artisan ice cream! Sign up for their monthly cheese tasting events.- They sell curd from PA that is made from grass fed cow milk.. No perservatives!
