One of my fav restaurants. The grilled chicken skewer is delicious and extra yummy with a side of hummus. They have the best falafel I've tried as well. If I'm alone, I'll eat outside and people watch
Hummus w/ hot sauce that is amazingly hot. Duck confit that's always on the specials menu & comes w/ amazing fries. The Bastilla. Yummy salads. Lamb tagine w/ apricots & prunes. So much is so good!
Best brunch spot downtown. Their chicken tagine/couscous is to die for! And the mangococktail is so good! Best cappuccino in town. When in doubt, go to mogador.
One of our favorite East Village haunts. Sit at the bar, chat up the mix of locals and have one of the best $9 eggs/potatoes/toast/oj/espresso this side of the East River.
middle eastern eggs (poached) were splendid. every element I need in a great breakfast: great poach, good bread for yolk soaking, some yummy greens and a good spread option to combine the elements.
With an outdoor seating area that looks out on St. Marks Place, you'll have plenty of people watching to keep you busy. Alternatively, the bartenders are great company as well.
My fave spot for Mediterranean eats. Perfect East Village ambiance. Always crowded on Fri / Sat nights + no reservations. The merguez cous-cous or any of the tagines are sure shot orders. Read more
