- Grace YoonJuly 17, 2016Choco chip scone is good. Mocha glacier has a bit of weird, powdery aftertaste, disappointingly. More than anything, the interior is great (esp at summertime, when not congested with college students)
- Caroline ShenSeptember 11, 2013Just had a sandwich here for the first time. Damn good. The ingredients--especially the bread--are very fresh. And it comes with a side salad for $6-$6.75 (depending on the sandwich) which is amazing.
- Namitta ShankarJune 14, 2012Great place to get some work done. Sit upstairs in the cove for meetings if the noise below is too much. Window seat for me! Large roomy windows and good coffee. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Escott HayashidiazFebruary 7, 2016A classic Berkeley cafe for meeting up with friends. When I was in school I think I people watched and socialized more than I studied here. Good times. :-)
- If you are not into strong coffee, I recommend the Caramella on a cold day and the Mocha Glacier on a hot day. Mmmhmmm. Also a great place to study! Grab a seat upstairs!

- Masha GalitskaiaMarch 9, 2014Very nice music and good coffee. A little too crowdy on Saturday evening though.
- Russell LAugust 20, 2015Standard-fare coffee near campus. Gets crowded, very warm upstairs, noisy. Would not recommend for meetings (but students will do it anyway).
- Chris PlattypusApril 6, 2013Great taste in music. Orchestral versions of pop, film soundtracks and a nice hum of conversation

- Nabeel HyattOctober 25, 2014Good coffee and wifi spot near campus. Pastries are easily avoided though.
- Get the Hot Chicken Sandwich and find a seat upstairs overlooking the entrance.
- They don't mix the chocolate syrup in the mochas. That's a weird thing to do (or not do, as it were).
- Bobby WhiteJuly 15, 2011If you like strong coffee, I recommend ordering a regular with a shot of espresso.
- Brian CarverAugust 3, 2011Get coffee in to-go cup. They use pint glasses w/o handles that get too hot.
- The AmEx special doesn't work here since they only take Visa/MasterCard!
