- Guha ArunkumarJune 10, 2017Get the stir fried assorted fresh mushroom (and ask for it to be made spicy) irrespective of whether you're a vegetarian or not. 😋
- Gus BorrmannSeptember 19, 2015Shrimp dumplings are great. Pork dumplings with chili oil are amazing. And the King Pao Chicken is a good choice as well.
- What's Good HereAugust 24, 2015Recommended - Braised Fish with Tofu Lunch Special. Fresh and meaty chunks of fish with tofu in a mildly spicy sauce.
- Jagadish GandhiApril 7, 2015Wonder how this place got a Michelin Star. Lunch menu is all precooked and dry. Lunch menu is tailored for a quick turnaround in business district.
- Jason H.January 7, 2016Everything is great - as the other reviews said - but nobody mentioned the excellent eight jewel rice pudding for dessert!
- Dustin McSwaneJanuary 17, 2015Great decor, food was delicious service was excellent, and stag was informative and friendly. I will most definitely be back

- Rafi RomeroJune 27, 2015Food is good here but not spectacular. Favorites were the spicy wontons and the mapo tofu. Tea smoked duck, pork belly, and jellyfish were overrated.
- Noah NormanAugust 24, 2016I was skeptical, given the location, the cocktails, and the Szechuan aspirations, but it's real. It's all real.
- LorcánAugust 26, 2016Tea-smoked duck was perfectly cooked. Among the best I've ever eaten. The sauce puts it over the top.
- David HuFebruary 8, 2014I mean, I guess the place has a Michelin star but I wasn't blown away. Comparable to some Chinatown favorites.
- Sasha ChinnayaJanuary 13, 2019Such a cute place. Three pepper chicken is a must. It’s not that spicy. The drinks are really really nice.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantSeptember 5, 2013Excellent! Get the wontons with chili sauce and the lamb cumin - both amazing! Not crazy about the duck or the tofu.
- Allison KaminskiOctober 15, 2015Must get the dumplings and the spicy chicken!! Best dumplings I have ever had.... The sauce it's in is incredible!!
- Real Cheap EatsAugust 15, 2012Try the “mouth watering chicken." Bone-in chicken is poached & chilled, arriving in a bowl slicked with neon-colored chili-and-sesame oil. It somehow manages to be refreshing & incendiary all at once. Read more

- Dani NedalOctober 9, 2016Everything is great. Tea smoked duck is excellent. Pork dumplings in chili sauce are awesome.
- The ma po tofu is way too salty. Cumin lamb is nice and tender. The menu should probably mention that the spicy wontons are also sweet.
- Chad HornerApril 7, 2016has to be one of the, if not the most, affordable Michelin-starred meals you can get in New York
- Nick LoweryFebruary 23, 2017Three pepper chicken has more sichuan peppercorns than Chunking chicken. We still had them bring extra peppercorn powder. It was quite good.
- Steph YiuDecember 13, 2015I can't feel my tongue. The mapo tofu is good, but the Dan Dan noodles were the winner.
- Josh SaletnikAugust 22, 2014Old school fancy cocktails pair perfectly with spicy Chinese food! The aromatic fish was really yummy.
- HolidayJanuary 5, 2018My face is still on fire from hot and sour soup and ma po tofu but will be back for less spicy dishes.
