This was the best gnocchi I've had in North America. Can't miss. Good wine selection too. Don't let the hotel location scare you off.
Fun place for nightlife. Lots to see or do. The roads get shut down here in the evening. Remember that cover charges can be high after 11:00pm.
Love this market! You can spend an afternoon wandering around, sampling food, and picking up things to take home.
Rent some bikes and ride around this park, especially around the waterfront. It is so beautiful on a nice day (and even on a bad day!).

One of the classic, long-standing Vancouver chinese food institutions. Get the king crab during peak season if you can afford it, but the dim sum is outstanding also.
Another long-standing chinese food institution. Great dim sum (and competitor to Kirin). Either pick is delicious and good value.
Decent Canadian chain poutine. Lots of selection -- and great after a night out.
This location gets quite busy (Cactus Club Cafe is a large Canadian chain), but pretty decent food, kid-friendly, and good drinks.
Great brewery in Gastown. Good selection of beers and close to waterfront.
Spendy Jean-Georges restaurant -- but one of the best fried calamari dishes I've had. Light, crispy, and tender.
Check hours before you go, but nice little market if it's open. Wouldn't go out of your way, but great to wander around if you're in the area.
Don't be scared by the Hampton brand -- if you can get it at a decent price this is one of the nicest hotels in Vancouver. They also have bikes you can rent if you are a guest!
Omg - the mushroom truffle pasta here is to die for. Upscale, elegant italian dining and very fine execution. Greaty wagyu beef carpaccio also.
Lots of poke options!! You can get your poke either in a burrito form or a bowl. I prefer the bowl since you can get a bite of everything in one -- a pokerrito can be hard to manage.
