Boris: Yes the prices are sky-scraping but you will not find another hotel anywhere in HK with their standard rooms having an area of at least 70sqm - which is massive for any hotel in HK.
Boris: The views are quite vast and impressive, however it is an ageing property that definitely needs to be refreshed. Service is definitely up to Ritz-Carlton standards and Japanese ones too.
Boris: This particular dealership is owned by the Taikoo group. If you're on the market for a new car try to get one off the lot, as they're way more discounted than those ordered from Germany
Boris: This is hands down the best and most authentic Thai restaurant in Taiwan, with a chef who is actually Thai and world-renowned, where could you possibly go wrong? Book early!
Boris: This is random boutiquette on the ground floor of Eslite Xinyi and has a great selection of men's jackets and accessories for the working class who like a little Japanese and vintage twist.
Boris: What a hotel for party-goers! Service isn't as refined as say the St. Regis but I'd say still give it a try if you like loud colours and party-hotels.
Boris: Every expo, exhibition, fare, and the likes of which are held here. If your visiting from abroad stay at Le Méridien Taipei for a decent distance (and an excellent hotel no doubt!).

Boris: Hands-down one of the if not THE best Japanese restaurant in town. Try one of the set menus if you've got the room, or try their hot pot on a winter's day.
Boris: Recently face lifted, this joint is popular amongst Taiwanese celebrities and artists. The food, not so genuinely authentic but for Taipei, it's worth the money. Book in advance for private rooms.
Boris: The location is not so great and happening as other five-star hotels in the city, but you can't deny it of its beauty and grandeur and bold use of colour with hints of Art Deco and attention to detail
