- Jessica LlanesNovember 16, 2013We had chicken dumplings, firecracker shrimp and chicken satay skewers. All very good. Great atmosphere. We had an enjoyable time at the bar they call the "Chef's table". Affordable, decent service.
- tablehopperAugust 3, 2014While the chicken wings ($9.88) are an inherited classic on the menu, these grilled, meaty wings are superlative. They’re so savory that you almost don’t even need the side sambal and Sriracha sauces. Read more
- tablehopperAugust 3, 2014The Snacks section of the menu is full of many of my new faves, including the deeply flavorful char siu pork spring rolls ($10.75), a must-order. Read more
- Sabina B.April 21, 2014The flavors here are simply divine. Don't leave here without ordering the short ribs, crispy cauliflower, and green beans. Pro tip: ask for the secret vegetarian menu.
- Long Duk DongSeptember 22, 2014Swanky spot. I feel like I'm in 1930's Shanghai, the city my grandparents met and fell in love in. The food is delicious such as firecracker shrimp and spare ribs.

- David PlattApril 12, 2013The glazed short ribs may be the best in the country. Pass on the beef skewers and mushroom skewers. Bacon wrapped prawns and tuna were killer.
- Ali WhiteMarch 14, 2012Haven't been disappointed by anything here. My favs include the green beans (a must!), rib eye, lettuce cups, cauliflower. Desserts are excellent too. Awesome cocktails.
- RJApril 19, 2013Short ribs are a must have and also the lamb belly was really good and different. This is a place is great for food and atmosphere
- Rahadyan SastrowardoyoSeptember 30, 2011I usually am wary of "pan-Asian" restaurants because they're often Americanized Chinese restaurants with some Thai or Malay dishes. Betelnut has a variety of dishes to surprise the jaded palate!
- New, great menu with some traditional "good stuff" still there. There is nothing like Betelnut! I wish I could take it to NYC with me
- Simon Favreau-LessardAugust 7, 2014Great Asian fusion food is to be found here. Brussel sprouts, short ribs, all delicious
- Natalie MJune 1, 2015The fish bowls-bomb. The food-great. The ambiance-fantastic. What more could you ask for?
- Sean WalkerMay 29, 2012Great place. I saw the reviews on 4Sq and Yelp and had to stop in. Their menu is great. Our waitress was informative and fun. Gotta try it!
- Alex MurrayAugust 15, 2011Great place to grab a drink and people watch on Union St. While hanging here this weekend the bartender offered up free shots! Good calamari too.
- Try the sashimi and the Tombo Tuna. They are delicious. And ask for Hangar 1 vodka. It's their best.
- Sriram KrishnanSeptember 6, 2014Noodles are good. The coconut parfait is one of the better deserts I have had in my life
- erik lillquistJune 27, 2010Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar. So cool to watch the crew in action. Green beans, Buddha dumplings and the mochi dessert are my winners
- Karen SmithNovember 12, 2011The calamari is fantastic. Must order the wasabi mustard sauce for dipping. And if you love tapioca it is to die for.
- Rachel KingMarch 26, 2013Never liked Ahi Tuna until I came here. Also, the fried banana dessert is perfection.
