Dates: Saturday April 5, 10am - 1pm. Instructor: Rachel Gingold. In this 3-hour class you will learn all about how to use Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan. Learn several techniques, such as smooth, rustic, two-color distressed and textured, and create sample boards to take home. The techniques you learn in this workshop compliment every style – from vintage to modern, French country and more. You will learn the proper way to apply both clear and dark wax, to achieve beautiful, durable finishes. For those who have taken either Chalk Paint® 101 or Trash to Treasure, it's time to expand your horizons! Learn new techniques and use new products to enhance your Chalk Paint® projects! In this 4-hour class you will learn to use Artisan Enhancement's Crackle Tex and Pearl Plaster, play with metallic foils, learn wet-wax distressing and colored waxing techniques with Chalk Paint®. We will also practice a unique stenciling project from Annie Sloan's latest Color Recipes book! Come away inspired, with samples and the confidence to complete your own projects at home with great results! All materials will be provided. Snacks and drinks are included. Dates: Thursday March 27, 7pm - 9pm. Ladies, bring a friend and enjoy a night out making jewelry, tasting chocolate and other refreshments! Learn to make several pieces of beautiful fused glass jewelry. Art glass, tools and chocolates will be provided. You bring laughter and sense of creativity!

Dates: Sunday April 6, 11am - 3pm. Instructor: JaYing Wang. Beautify your garden and home with mosaics! Make up to 3 pieces, using a selection of broken stained glass, tiles, plates, mirrors and glass nuggets. Choose from a large selection of forms to mosaic: step stone, mirror, turtle, snail, rock, planter, and more. All supplies and instruction are included. 11am-3pm.

We provide the stained glass, tools and kiln firing, you bring your creativity to make plates, bowls, jewelry, suncatchers, nightlights, and more. Don't worry, we'll teach you how to use glass cutting tools and fusing techniques. It's not hard and the resulting pieces are AMAZING! We don't charge a studio use fee, you just pay by the piece. Prices range from $16 to $100. Because you will be working with cut glass shards, this is not advised for children under 10. Children 10-14 should be accompanied by an adult.

Instructor: Rachel Gingold. For students age 10 - 16. Students will learn the fundamentals of painting using acrylics on canvas. We will cover the basics of color mixing, brush management and using glazing mediums. During the six weeks, students will create a still life, a mixed-media collage, and a landscape painting. Concepts of composition, light and shadow, foreground and background will all be emphasized. All skill levels are welcome. 8 students per class maximum. Winter 2014: 6 week class, meets once per week. Tuesday 3/4/14 - 4/15/14, 4:00-6:00pm (no class April 1st) .

Instructor: Ken McGhee. For students age 10 - 16. Students will learn fundamentals of Manga illustration. Manga, originated in Japan, is a highly stylized form of cartoon illustration. Its offshoot, Anime, is animation derived from the Manga style. Students will learn fundamentals of Manga illustration, and by end of the 6-week course, will produce a full color, multi-panel cartoon page. Students will learn: character/gesture drawing techniques; basic perspective techniques; storyboard concepts; study page layout options; hand drawn typography techniques; color blocking using professional-grade markers; inking techniques using nibbed pen and ink. 10 students per class maximum. Winter 2014: 6-week course, meets once a week Friday 3/7/14 - 4/18/14, 4:30-6:00pm (no class April 4th) .

We are offering week long summer art camps for entering 5th - 9th graders. These aren't your typical art camps though! Projects will be complex and challenging, designed for the youth who truly loves art, wants to explore new techniques and media, and has a passion for creating fabulous art!

Students will create one or two mosaic pieces suitable for the garden using colorful stained glass, glass nuggets and mirrors. They will learn how to use glass cutting tools, design & lay out a mosaic, and how to cement and grout.

Students will learn to make a stained glass sun catcher using the Tiffany copper foil method of construction They will learn to cut glass accurately, use a glass grinder and other glass cutting tools, to use a soldering iron (with one-on-one direct supervision by JaYing) . All solder used will be unleaded.

Learn to copy an arrangement of objects! Students will learn the basics of composition, foreground and background, light and shadow, and apply them to their own unique painting.

Students will create a mixed media collage on canvas! We will cover the basics of composition, layering foreground and background, and how to add materials and paint to a canvas or board. A variety of materials will be available to incorporate into works of art.

Students will bring in a chair or small piece of furniture and turn it into a unique and colorful work of art! We will cover the basics of adding color to a 3D functional object.

June 16-20, July 7-11, July 14-18, August 4-8, August 18-22.

Take $10 off for a sibling participating the same week.

No flip-flops, sandals or open-toe shoes please (it's a glass studio) .

Fees may also be paid in full at the time of registration.

Enjoy a week of art making over the spring break holiday! Students will work on a different project each day, creating fused glass pieces, mosaics, paintings, and more! Call for daily rates. Sibling discounts available. Hours: 9am-3pm. Age: 9+. Space Is Limited!

Birthday parties, bridal showers, corporate team building, girls night out - you think of it, we'll help you host it! Our fee is $50 plus a $18 fused glass item per person (price per person will be higher for larger items) . We provide a dedicated assistant, 2 hours studio time and space for drinks and treats. The fused glass item can be the guest's choice of plates, bowls, vase, sun catchers or jewelry. Each guest will also create a small fused glass piece which we will assemble & make into a beautiful hanging suncatcher for the guest of honor. We take care of the kiln firing and will call the host for pick up when all the pieces are done. You provide food, drinks, utensils & table supplies. We provide glass materials, tools, party table covering and clean up. Space limited to 12 persons. No alcohol if anyone in attendance is under 21. For ages 10+. Both can be applied to wood, metal, laminate cabinetry and furniture, Formica, and walls. In addition, we carry Furniture Glazing Colors and Poly Acrylic Topcoat, both designed to help you finish your Wood Icing™ projects.

Fissure Size is an optional step, which is what causes our Textura Paste to crack. Brush on and allow it to dry to the touch. Apply Textura Paste over the top. Cracks will form as the paste dries. Run out of time before you get the Textura Paste on...Not to worry... Fissure Size will still create cracks in our Textura Paste no matter how long you wait. Put the paste on as soon as the Fissure Size is dry or wait 3 months... It will still create cracks when you spread the Textura Paste over the top of it!! If the design you have chosen does not require cracks and crevasses, then you should skip this step and move onto the Textura Paste. Clean up with soap and water.
