In our tradition of bringing you fresh, local ingredients and delicacies, the cheeses used here at the Artisan Wine Company originate from Farm Fromage in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Farm Fromage takes great pride in make a delicious variety of goat cheeses from local farmers and cheese makers.

Raw cow milk blue from the crossroads of Monterey, Pennsylvania.

Misty Lovely

Raw goal milk cheese. Similar to Ricotta Salata. Excellent in beet salad.

Good Old

Raw cow milk. Gouda recipe from Amsterdam, made in Pennsylvania. Young, tasty and mild.

Beer Washed

Raw cow milk cheese made in the Trappist style. Washed in Lancaster Brewing Company’s Milk Stout Beer.

Wine List

Agua De Piedra Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina-2012

The grapes in this wine were chosen from some of the oldest vineyards, providing small berries from low yielding vines, situated amongst the best terroirs. In Mendoza, the glacial deposits and alluvial soil mix help give this wine complexity and grip. These vineyards lie in the highest altitude vineyards in the world, giving this malbec immense depth of fruit and subtle tannin.

Alma De Chile Carmenere, Acongagua Valley, Chile-2011

Carmenere is a dark-skinned red grape variety originally from the vineyards of Bordeaux. Grown in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, gives this wine notes of dark fruit, pepper, and forest scents with ripe tannins.

Alto Cinco Garnacha, Carinena Spain-2011

Fermented in primarily stainless steel tanks this 94% Granacha and 4% Tempranillo has very aromatic and berry fruit flavors. Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels gives this wine roundness and texture. This wine taste of ripe, juicy strawberry, red cherry, and blackberry with supple tannins. The floral notes help complement the oak notes of vanilla on the finish.

B.R. Cohn Chardonnay, Sanoma Valley-2010

This chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented and aged in Burgundian French oak barrels. This wine is rich and concentrated with floral aromas of tropical fruit, pear, apricot, and lemon meringue surrounded by a bouquet of toasty oak, vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut. A luscious mouth feel and bright flavors of honey, pear, apple, and citrus makes this a top shelf chardonnay.

Badger Mountain Chardonnay, Columbia Valley-2012

This tantalizing wine bursts with tropical fruit flavors. Upfront the key lime and ataulfo mangos draw you in. Opening up to apple blossom, lemon zest and toasted coconut flavors with mineral and floral notes. The finish is elegant and refreshing.

Benzinger Chardonnay, North Coast California-2011

This Chardonnay has many flavors of ripe peach and pear. Six months of barrel aging gives this wine silky smoothness and adds a nuance of oak that gives birth to a lengthy finish.

Bex Riesling, Nahe Germany-2011

Bex has fresh, crisp, juicy, and lively palate. Pale straw in color, it offers a bouquet of lime peel, grapefruit and honeysuckle. This is lovely, lithe and lacy in structure. With ripe apples, pear, and lime flavors and a dry finish.

Biscotti is a California Chardonnay full of flavors. This wine has lots of vanilla and oak flavors, which help give it a lengthy finish.

Black Ankle Passeggiata, Frederick County Maryland-2009

This unique wine was fermented in French oak barrels, which brings hints of butterscotch and cedar flavors supporting the lively fruit flavors. It is light to medium bodied and very smooth.

Blackstone Merlot, Acampo California-2010

Blackstone is actually a blend of 82% Merlot, 10% Syrah, 4% Petite Syrah, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Rubired. The aroma of Blackstone Merlot is earthy yet floral with hints of raseberry and leather. On the palate this wine is delicate and dry with slight hints of vanilla. Balanced tannins affect the front of the tongue and the bottom of the cheeks near the gums.

Boom Town Syrah, Mattawa Washington-2008

With a medium body this wine offers notes of vanilla bean, plum, coffee, black cherry, spice and smoked flavors. Very dark and rich this vine has great potential for aging with a smooth and supple texture.

Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand-2012

Aromas of ripe lemongrass and tropical rock melon are immediately apparent, allied with a range of sweet, tropical top notes. A spicy quince and asian pear flavors rest on a crisp, sweet body, with plenty of lime and grapefruit notes.

Caspasaldo Moscato, Provincia Di Pavia Italy-2013

A semi-sweet sparkling wine that’s bright gold in color, it has intense pear, peach, and spice aromas. The flavors are fresh, vivacious, and fruitful.

Chancewater Malbec, Kelseyville, Lake County, California-2010

This smooth and juicy Merlot has wonderful aromas of plum, black olive, and green tea. It offers good depth with a soft, round mouth-feel and contains layers of black cherry, vanilla and earthy notes. The finish has nuances of toasty oak, fruit and lush tannins.

Cline Ancient Vine Zin, Sonoma California-2011

The ancient vines have wonderful, strawberry, coffee and chocolate characters. Through the use of new and used wood has lent this wine a subtle vanilla, oaky flavor that complements the explosive fruit notes. It’s a medium bodied zin with good acid, sweet berry fruits, peppers, and spice.

Clos De La Lysardiere, Chinon France-2007

Light in color and body, this wine has a smoky, and tart cherry nose. The flavor of the wine is smoky, fruity and peppery. It is well balanced and has a light but lingering finish.

Como Sur Pinot Noir, Santiago, Chile-2011

Bicicleta Pinot Noir is a voluptuous Pinot Noir with rich fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum, and strawberry. Enhanced by its subtle smoky hints. Its fine tannins allows the fruit flavors to burst while giving it a great texture and mouth feel.

Cubo Tempranillo, La Mancha Region, Spain-2011

The region from which these vines are located is especially hot and dry to compensate for this the grapes are spaced 8 feet apart and have been planted in varying sizes of stones. These stones have a glossy sheen, which reflect the sunlight back up resulting in a very uniform grape. Dark red in color, with cedar and berry aromas and a medium body this wine is very well balanced, smooth, and savory.

Deangelis Falerio, Province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy-2012

Falerio is a young, wine with all of the refreshing, and spritzy qualities. On the nose there are deep fruit aromas of peaches and limes. The palate is loaded with ripe creamy peach and nectarine with notes of key lime and seltzer followed with a salty, mineral-driven finish. The creamy richness of this wine will please fans of unoaked chardonnays, but it has an acidic and mineral element that makes this super fresh and mouthwatering.

Domino is full of aromas ranging from baked apples, dried pineapples, and nuts. It is a fruity-yet-dry medium bodied wine with flavors of pear, and green apples and a bright citrus and chalky accented finish.

Excellent citrus on the nose with peach and pear on the palate, this blend of Chardonnay and Torrentes grapes is very enjoyable and fun on the palate. Light oak gives this blend a short finish but is a blend of perfection.

Knob Hall Jealous Mistress, Clear Spring, Maryland-2012

Dark Ruby in color, this blend of Chambourcin and Merlot has rich flavors cherry and plum. The finish has soft tannins and is fruity with a hint of tobacco.

Kenwood Yalupa, Sonoma Valley California-2010

Yulupa Cabernet Sauvignon is produced with an emphasis on softness and drinkability. Aromatic earthy notes follow intense aromas of cherry and raspberry. Finishing with a full-bodied mouth feel, which is rich and lengthy.

Michel Schlumber M. Rouge, Dry Creek Valley, California-2010

Deep ruby in color, aromas of cherry, black currant, violets and allspice on the nose, are balanced with well-structured tannins, a rich mouth feel and concentrated flavors of cherry and plum. It is a blend of 32% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 14% Carmenere, 14% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec.

Mon Sant Xabec, Montsant, Spain-2008

Xabec is a blend of 50% Carignan and 50% Garnacha aged in new French oak for 14 months. Aromas of pain grille, mineral, lavender, black cherry, black plum, and licorice inform the nose of this already complex, concentrated red blend.

Cline Mourvedre Rose, Sonama, California-2012

A fun and festive rose, with floral raspberry and vanilla aromas. It has notes of cherry and spice finishing with a plum, pomegranate, and watermelon flavor. Served chilled it complements spicy foods.

Nicolas Cabernet Sauvignon, Vin De Pays D" Oc-2012

Light straw in color this mix of 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Chardonnay, and 2% Marsanne it is full of aromas of pear, grapefruit, and gooseberry with hints of custard and asparagus. Crisp Acidity is apparent on the front and finish of this but it is well balanced with fruity sweetness. The finish is long but invites you to drink another.

Cotes Du Rhone, Rhone River Valley, France-2009

Rosso Piceno is a vast red wine appellation in Italy’s eastern coastal region of Marche, situated 700 meters above sea level the soils are varied, yet mainly clay with chalky and sandy pockets. Made from a mix of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and other red grapes. This wine is rustic, spicy, and has notes of earthy tones.

El Libre Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina-2011

Malbec is a hearty red grape of French origin that is now popular in Argentina. Also know as the “black wine of Cahors”, Malbec is one of the five Bordeaux Varieties. This malbec spends its first 2 days in cold maceration, followed by malolactic fermentation with a brief touch of oak. It’s bright, fresh, and clean on the palate with nuances of red cherry.
