- Nelly MillerFebruary 17, 2013Waffle and chicken wings the BEST!!! Add cinnamon to your waffle. Yummy
- Lauren CJanuary 23, 2012It's a cool spot...not the best soul food by far, but def doable. Go for the waffle combos skip everything else.
- Amy BeauxJune 6, 2011I used to eat here regularly & would have dreams about the chicken and waffles. When I went today the smothered chicken was not as good as it used to be.
- @JaumePrimeroApril 2, 2012the chicken is good, still not sure whether its as good as the Yard Bird at Red Rooster!
- Lanto OnirinaApril 15, 2012NY best waffle with fried chicken and bacon ! Damn I love their corn bread !
- Known for the chicken but the pork chops are good too!
- Ron HsuOctober 21, 2016Must've come at a bad time, cuz the smothered Obama came out within 5 minutes of ordering. No way they cooked that to order. And it wasn't very hot. Please don't drive this place into the ground.
- George TerryApril 26, 2012Really over-rated. It must appear in every guidebook as it was full of tourists looking bewildered in their grits.
- Jason LeeMarch 24, 2013Try to arrive before noon...otherwise you may find yourself lining up with hundreds of tourists...
- AngieDecember 31, 2018A disappointment & shame to soul food. Mac & cheese was god awful with barely any actual cheese on it, dry and gummy. String beans were served in water. Short rib was bland & the whole plate was $26!
- Dre JonesJanuary 24, 2011The Salmon Croquettes (Kid Capri) are delicious but the 3 half-dollar size portion is more fitting of an appetizer.
- Cheryl YBRJuly 25, 2010Everything...I mean everything on the menu is amazing! Go with an empty stomach and enjoy yourself
- The bbq ribs aren't the greatest, however the catfish and fried wings are signature.
- Sisi ZhuSeptember 23, 2011Get your chicken fried with gravy on the side; I find that having them smothered the skin gets too soggy
- Viking Real WorldOctober 15, 2011The best catfish in town. Yum!! Unfortunately, the greens are the worst I have ever had.
- Felicia MOctober 16, 2011Not exactly in Upper West Side but great fried chicken. Portions are conquerable, not too big.
