- On the way to D gates, sit on the bench under fake trees playing birdsong for relaxation
- Going to Amsterdam Central? Sprinter train takes the same time as a taxi, and saves you 30-40eur.

- A huge airport and you may have to walk a lot to get to your baggage belt
- Dutch fail miserably in planning- if you do not have a EU passport prep for an extra hour in passport line / 100s of people in line only and only 1 officer for non EU line : (
- If you fly with BA, better make sure you know the gatenumber, because it's not on the boardingpass and D31 hits you as a surprise (10-15min walk) and closed is closed at BA:(

- Don't be the first (or second) to leave the baggage hall; you'll get your luggage checked.
- Security was a breeze! Make sure you buy any last minute knick-knacks before you get to your gate.
- Sessions of 15' free wifi on KPN network. Just accept general conditions in your browser once connected.
- It is under construction/renovation at the moment. Also gate F05 seems to have an additional security clearance before boarding

- I’m sure this airport used to be better. Feels like an average experience these days. Central security search often backed up - so leave plenty of time to get through! Aircraft take forever to taxi.
- To ask for tax refund, first go to Tax Customs counter for a chop on ur receipts before queuing at the tax refund counters to get back ur money either in cash or credit card.
- If you’re staying in Haarlem, Bus #300 goes to and from Haarlem.
