Free wifi. If you are a frequent traveler I would highly recommend Privium.
You can request to opt-out from the advanced imaging scanner and receive a pat-down instead.

The somewhat verbally aggressive and self-entitled security people rummaging through your stuff are actually quite harmless :P
It’s a nice airport , however can get busy sometimes especially in holidays season.

Free 30 minute WiFi from KPN but the trick is that you can sign up twice to make it 1 hour. Graag gedaan!

If you fly with BA, better make sure you know the gatenumber, because it's not on the boardingpass and D31 hits you as a surprise (10-15min walk) and closed is closed at BA:(
Visit the pub in D wing if you aren't privileged enough to have access to a lounge
Very chaotic airport with ambiguous navigation and huge queues.

If your plane lands on the Polderbaan then your plane needs another 15 minutes to drive to the terminal
Not all trains go to Amsterdam Central Station. Read the info boards before you take the escalator down to the tracks, to avoid running around like crazy ;-)
