- Calvin ChanMarch 18, 2015They brew Stumptown beans (from the local LA Stumptown). Much bigger than it looks from the outside; they have a nice patio too. There is wifi and (very few) outlets, so you can get work done too...
- Easily my favorite coffee shop in LA thus far. Very creative. Working creatives. Inspiring to me. Solid wifi signal, but strength has always needed help, and can drop now and again.

- Sandrene MathewsJuly 8, 2018Great lattes and they have oat milk. The large iced oat mocha saved me on this insanely hot day. But they don’t have any outlets. A great place for meeting but not necessarily for working.
- Time Out Los AngelesMay 13, 2015Wifi is free, coffee is courtesy Stumptown Coffee Roasters, pastries are tasty and the experience is irresistibly Instagram-able (Seriously. That "But first, coffee" decal should have its own handle.)
- Catsi CatalanJune 1Our visit to Alfred's Coffee, nestled beside Glossier on Melrose, was a delightful experience. The vibrant pink hue of the matcha was as eye-catching as it was delicious matching the trendy branch.
- Ken MizunoJuly 8, 2015Great coffee and selection of juices. Sit and hang inside while enjoying your drink of choice or sit out on the front porch under the sun watching the trendy people of Melrose Place pass by.
