Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation of the skin. A buffing treatment that resurfaces the skin using ultra fine medical grade aluminum oxide crystals to remove the upper layer of the statum corneum.

Microdermabrasion is beneficial for you if we have worked on you skin & helped to clear up a majority of your acne. After we have achieved this, Microdermabrasion will be extremely helpful for any scarring & discoloration, while also giving deeper exfoliation to prevent pores from becoming blocked w/ dead skin cells.

It is extremely important to wear an SPF 30 (at least) after treatments. Your skin may feel slightly tight, & you may experience slight flaking or peeling depending on the condition of your skin. Avoid using exfoliating products for 3 days. There is no down time for this treatment, so your skin will be in good condition the day of your treatment.
