Convenient due to its small size and easy connections, but it needs some remodeling (the stores look like they're from the 80s), and the food options are terrible.
There is a lot of duty free shopping but not a single place to buy a book or magazine (in any language). Only places to eat are Subway and an priceycafeteria. be prepared if you have a long layover
High end stores everywhere.. Like if you forgot your Rolex or need some $200 leather shoes, or even an iPad. Couldn't find much to eat though, they forgot the restaurants.
I absolutely hate this airport. There's zero attempt by the employees to pay any attention or help you. 99 percent don't speak English. Even if you speak Spanish they could not care less about helping
Extremely rude employees, lack of organization and guidance for passengers. The worse part of the horrible customer service. Employees rolling their eyes and sending you “nowhere” .
Duty free not worth it at all. Prices are the same everywhere in the airport so don't bother asking around for the same product. Wifi unreliable in some parts, but still free
Wheelchair service is pretty much non existent. I had a 4 hour layover in PTY but had to wait 45 minutes for a wheelchair to my next gate. They never returned at boarding time.
