Best Western Central Europe: The street is famous for its unusual architecture and belongs to the city's cultural landmarks and visitor attractions. Most of the buildings were erected between 1922 and 1931.
Best Western Central Europe: Schnoor quarter is the oldest of the city with beautiful, well-preserved lanes, fishermen's and shipper's houses. Lots of cafes and shops can be found here.
Tania M Pollok: Great Flammkuchen menu, all of the ones I tried were very good. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere, though it can get loud when it's crowded. It gets crowded a lot so make reservations if you can.
Tania M Pollok: The UNESCO World cultural heritage site with the town hall and the cathedral etc is so beautiful, especially during the blue hour and at night. A lot of beautiful sights are nearby like the Schnoor.
Common Swift: Small town protestant church of some architectural interest. Peregrines nest in the tower. Hosts the annual Christmas Market in Brinkum for guaranteed village fête fun.
Common Swift: This place makes you think Berlin has nothing on Bremen in terms of quirky, hep hang-outs. If over 25, however, best go for a quick, early beer. After 6 the place fills up with kids. Cool kids tho.
Common Swift: Good, quality garden and house plants at very low prices. Cheapest potting soil in town! Also good deals on imported foodstuffs like chutneys and coconut products.
Common Swift: Small, local market in the Release parking lot. Worth stopping by on a Saturday morning for some locally grown veg, homemade jam, or fresh fish, meat or cheese sold from a van. Friendly and quaint.

Zuzu Zozo: Das Restaurant besteht aus zwei Teilen. Das eigentliche Restaurant und kleines Stehcafe, wo du Fischbrötchen, Fish und Chips und einige andere Gerichte bekommst. Alles schmeckt hervorragend
Ami H.: Some beautiful blooms and a lovely walk. The dog picked up some ticks during our stroll however, so be careful if you or your pet stray off the path at all.
Ami H.: A rentable party space with a massive, awesome collection of pinball machines! Drop-ins are cool- get unlimited pin play at a flat hourly rate. Try the Steve Richie classic, Star Trek TNG - so fun!
Common Swift: Prob. the most interesting neighbourhood in Bremen. Definitely the most eclectic. Rows of cafés, bars, restaurants, fast food joints, shops. Drugs/sex also on sale in various establishments.
Common Swift: Firstly, the wonderful aroma of spices wafting throughout. ..great deals on asian and middle eastern spices, etc. plus a smallish selection of packaged food products. Meat counter + fresh breads
Common Swift: Unique to Bremen are the self service soft ice cream dispensers/toppings. Or try the gelato-Sacher Torte flavour had chunks of actual marmelade and icing from this famous Austrian cake.
Ami H.: Fleischbrötchen mmMMmmn. Scrumdillyicious meat on a bun is at a mad low price point here- I swear, Germany must be the greatest place on earth to be a pensioner. Skip the potato salad tho; meh.
Common Swift: The oddly-named Coma shop has a mostly more upmarket selection of discounted goods. You can find a bit of everything, but the shop is heavy on lamps, furniture and imported women's fashion.
Ami H.: If you're hungry, get the mixed plate of Northern specialties, natürlich. Labskaus, Knipp, egg, potato, pickles, beetroot...you'll feel like you could tear a phone book in half with your bare hands.
