Although it's located in the city of San Diego, it remains as one of the wildest reserves on the Southern California Coast; with miles of breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife.
Easy to spend 3-4 hours here, especially if you incorporate adjacent Presidio Park into a walking tour. For a West Coast spot, a lotta history packed into a small area. Avoid the weekends if possible.
This is an amazing experience in a low-key setting. Make an afternoon of hanging at the Pier and beach, then spend the evening on Newport Ave for food and drinks! The Harp and Winstons are always good
It's a favorite San Diego landmark of mine. It has a fantastic walk- through museum, and is very educational. Watch our for the narrow winding staircase.
Came here from NYC to see if the TV hype was true... Had the Bacon Cheeseburger. It's a great burger, everything I expected. The novelty of a bacon patty atop my beef patty was pretty epic.
Great views and great exercise. Be sure to get out of the car and ramble around a little bit. Some cool hidden pathways.

Great brews though they sadly don't do tours. Get the sampler and take it from there - be sure to have at least one pint of the Sculpin though 👉 SO good for the soul.
It's a great casual place to go. They have a full bar and some good craft cocktails. You can even take your food and drinks out to the grass and sit on a blanket.
This place is da bomb, if u love spicy food. Lamb with cumin, spicy chicken cubes, and duck are a must to try. Also, the chicken feet, pig ear, and any spicy beef in the apps are a must try too.
Especially delightful to dine outside. Nice ambiance, good wine selection, excellent seafood. The outdoor tables are a bit too close together. Outdoor torches add a great feeling to the experience.
