Rooms R brand new. I got an Exec Room with wrap around balcony which is very beautiful. But I checked in after midnight and I could not get foam pillows? The mgr @ night had "no access" 2 linenCloset?
The piped musicpoolside is smooth jazz through a good quality sound system, but it's a couple decibels too loud. It's blasting up to our balcony on the 7th floor.
Final analysis - really nice facility with a quick-learning staff. The difference between Friday's breakfast (chaos) and Sunday's (flawless) was dramatic.
The staff really has a lot to learn -- so many problems and slow service -- especially at the restaurant. Still, everyone is trying really hard. Some rock stars include Emily, Snow, Emory and Brienne.
Opened two nights ago. Still has that new hotel smell. The service is enthusiastic, but relatively clueless still. I know it will get better. It's a lovely spot.
Paying for late check out $75 for 4pm. My flight is delayed until 10pm and was told I'd have to clear the room. Who's best interest is this in? I'd rather sit at the airport. Shame!
North Tower elevators are shockingly small (and slow) for a nine-story resort. Even with the low occupancy of a new resort that isn't even finished, there have been long waits for the lift.
