The Heng Wha cuisine is really interesting and tasty with unique flavour tgat truly show the blend of Northern and Southern China. Really recommended for all foodies to try.
Give Deep Fried Bamboo Clams a miss. I love century eggs but theirs was a toned-down version that reminded me of sweet & sour pork. Must get: Braised Beancurd with Chinese Cabbage and Bee Hoon.
Made my grand aunt's birthday dinner wonderful with personal touches. Getting there: Exit Farrer Park Exit I and cross over road and walk in direction of Park Royal Hotel. It's just after PRHotel.
This is the original branch of putien and the only one that does their famous fried oyster cake as a whole round piece rather than 3 small individual discs.
The dishes were obviously awesome (the signature noodles, dou tou clams, luffa) but we were most pleasantly surprised by how kid-friendly service was. No habla ingles tho.
Have to try : a) Cockles with garlic and chilli padib) Putien fried rice vermicellic) Deep Fried Yum with Duckd) Beancurdsoupe) Bamboo Clam baked in salt
