I am not sure why people complain about the bridge ... We live in a beautiful area surrounded by water ... I for one am thankful

Haven't been stopped by a drawbridge in years. It was a couple minutes past the hour and we got stopped. The "prepare to stop if flashing" lights weren't flashing.

The bridge goes up during the summer at the hour & half hour for any tall boats to pass through.

If you are north bound, stay out of the far right lane or you will be forced to take the Spring Lake M104 exit.

Actually, the bridge only raises on the half an hour if there is a boat waiting :)
