In the winter time you can make a 50 minute walk via the fairy tales trail along the little river.

When heading for a lunch to Gerlos, then pay a visit to the Seestüberl as they serve great food and a great Austrian atmosphere.

In the winter time it is also nice to take the train to Zell am See and back. Step up behind hotel Kasseler. Ticket purchase on the train (day winter ticket).
