This place is amazing.... nice pub with good oomph. Go when the solstice is on and take in the vibe!!!! Of all the motor-heads and hippies.

Been here 100+ times
Largest stone circle in the world and second largest henge in Britain. Is at least 4500 years old and comprises three stone circles (98, 29 and 27 stones respectively).

Avebury is a clock/calendar which works off of an 8 year cycle (98 lunations) and accurate to 12 minutes/year.

Parking in grass/gravel National Trust car park only. High St permit holders only. £2 to park in the Red Lion car park but is refundable on £5+ purchase.
