I can see why it's in the top 25 museums in the US. Free entry, free parking. Tons of aircraft and a great little restaurant inside. There are places where it's quite chilly, but it is grand.
Pretty cool place. Changed a lot since I was kid! You can easily spend a couple of hours going through here. Also the grill is a pretty good lunch. About 18 bucks for 2 people.
Awesome way to spend a few hours. Although family friendly, we found our selves child-free for the day, we enjoyed the museum more by being able to take our time. Allow at least 3-4 hours.
It's free with free parking, has short videos and movies all over, several flight simulators you can "ride" and planes and helicopters you can climb into for photo ops
Family member station at NATTC-Took the opportunity to see the Naval Aviation Museum-Had a blast-The best part it's FREE-If you're visiting Pensacola and looking for something to do I would suggest it
This is one of my favorite museums. They have so many types and kinds of aircraft it is just unbelievable. Allot of hours go into restoring them. The museum itself is free.
Revisit landmarks in the history of naval aviation with this impressive collection of U.S. Navy planes. This site is on an active Navy base, so please be sure to bring a valid photo ID. Read more
For military history buffs, plan on spending an entire day. The trolley tour of the flight line comes highly recommended as well as the IMAX films. Be sure to save time in the gift store.
Great Museum with Imax. Free admission except for Imax and flight simulators. Go during the weekdays in the am if you can. Seemed to be less crowded then.
❤️this place! Come every year. Great atmosphere. Great and friendly staff and great drinks. Always. U won't be disappointed. Frozen drinks and beer and jäger bombs. Enjoy. Thnks guys
The POW/MIA section is interesting and still moving - I still remember wearing theses bracelets to shed light on the situation so the prisoners would be sent home
Very nice place for kids to. Learned a lot today. Biggest thing admission is free. Place is clean and well kept. Lots of planes etc. even have a cafe inside to eat at.
Took our grandson and he really enjoyed it. . Also, stop at the cafe for a snack or meal, the food was awesome as well as reasonable.....the bread pudding was fantastic!!
Located on board Pensacola Naval Air Station, more than 4,000 artifacts and over 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard aviation. Great IMAX Theatre
We spent hours here watching the Blue Angels and looking at all the planes. Got to see the planes my dad worked on in Vietnam. Definitely worth visiting.
While viewing the more than 150 restored aircraft, be sure to find the CH-53D Sea Stallion, used during the Vietnam War to resupply Marine base camps and other transport missions.
Awesome museum! We didn't get through it all in one day. So going back in the morning, watch the Blue Angels practice and going through the FREE museum again!
Admission to the Blue Angel practices and autograph session is FREE and open to the public. The viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located behind the Museum.
Get an excellent chili dog at the Cubi BarCafe, then go look at the U.S.S. Shangri-La model next to the funky late 50's Navy fighters like the F3H Demon and F7U Cutlass. Don't waste your money on th Read more
This museum is EPIC! My wife and I came here on a whim today. This is probably the most pleasant surprise on our road trip so far. A must see. Will totally split your wig!
This is the best aviation museum that I have ever been to. A lot of great aircraft on display all the way back to the first flight. When in Pensacola, FL, this is a must!
Restored aircrafts, Naval history, interesting artifacts, flight simulators and IMAX movies. Watch the Blue Angels fly the skies at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.
