Traditional Taiwanese breakfast -- less of a line than Fu Hang. Some of my favorites are their soy milk (sweet or salty), Saobing with egg, danbing (eggpancake), and fantuan (Chinese riceburrito)
It's 7.30am when we arrived & there're already 2long Qs! D1@entrance is 4take-aways & d other inside is 4dine-ins.B prepared2 share table as there r limited seats.Menu is in Chinese,Japanese,& English
The salty soy milk is very unique because something is added to the milk to congeal it slightly-making it almost into a soft tofu. Highly recommend for a traditional Taiwanese breakfast.
Love their xiaolongbao Even better than ding tai fung the staff is so nice and the food is good quality I ate the eggcrepesxiaolongbao fried radishcake soybeanmilk and so nd it's just so delicious
Get the sweet soy milk (iced or hot are both great), a youtiao 油條 (fried dough stick), and if you're feeling especially hungry, the turnip cake 蘿蔔糕 is where it's at.
Two queues - go inside for the dine in and point to the pictures if you can't read. Lots of locals and quite heavy for brekkie. Would suggest maybe better for lunch or after drinks - open 24hrs
