If you are transferring a vehicle from you of state, you have to pay taxes on it. You either pay taxes on the trade in value or if it is a gift, you pay it on half the trade in value.

"Visa, it's everywhere you want to be!" Except, apparently, at the Jefferson County Clerk's office, unless you're paying taxes (WTF) :-( They will take your debit card though, unless it says "Visa"!!

Service was fast today. In and out for car registration in five minutes. Have cash ready though, there is a charge to use credit or debit.
