コンセプトは「箱根の自然と美術の共生」建物は自然光を生かし、ほとんどが地下に置いてある。4月〜11月は遊歩道が開放されている。モネ、ピサロ、ルノワールなど印象派の画家の作品がじっくり味わえる。

キュレーションの意図が読みやすく、額装・配置も非常に巧みです。観ていて感動する展覧会に出逢えるのがこんなに嬉しい美術館は国内でも数少ないです。
